Trinidad has long been known as the Land of the Hummingbird, a fact embodied in the name the first peoples called the island, ‘Iere’! Today we visit Yerettê, a virtual hummingbird gallery with hundreds of these exciting yet graceful creatures. Inside you can see films and photos on several of the 17 species found in T&T while in the garden you’ll have encounters with 13 species. The beauty of the birds is only paralleled with the sumptuous meals served on the property.
