Charlottesville; The Pirates Place

Service Description

Today we visit the old village of Charlottesville. Our trip takes us along the windward coast through a mix of towns with a mix of British and European names such as Mount St George, Delaford and Loius D'or. From heights of Flagstaff Hill and Fort Cambleton you’ll have great views of the Buccaneer’s hideout, Pirates' Bay. With its beautiful natural harbour, it is no wonder that explorers, adventurers and pirates alike were all attracted to Charlottesville. We'll stop for a dip in the sea, meet and mingle with the villagers before having lunch. After our meal and some relaxation, we'll make our return journey. Duration: 6-7 hours and includes entrance fees, lunch and drinks. Comfortable walking shoes suggested We then make our return via the Atlantic coast through the city of Scarborough.
