Nariva Swamp

Service Description

We venture to the east coast of Trinidad and drive along 14km of palm fringed coastline to Kernaham village and the Nariva Bush Bush reserve. In this protected forest, you can see a variety of birds including toucans, macaws and the breakdancing golden headed manikins. Its sometimes possible to see porcupines, iguanas and agoutis. The startling call of the howlers and the silent cries of the capuchins initiates the search of the canopy for monkeys. Duration: 9 hours dependent on experience chosen. Includes entrance passes, lunch and drinks. Hiking or gym shoes and a change of clothes in case of rain.
